Meet Our Pastor

Rev. Bryan M. Rogers was called to Concord Baptist Church in September of 2023, as our pastor.
Pastor Bryan is a native of Sumter, a graduate of Sumter High School and is enrolled at Piedmont Technical College in Greenwood, SC, in the Funeral Service program to become a licensed funeral director and embalmer. He is employed by Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home and Crematory in Sumter, where he is currently a dual licensed apprentice funeral director and embalmer.
He was Licensed into the Gospel Ministry, June 28, 2015 and Ordained June 28, 2020.
Prior to him being called as pastor to Concord Baptist Church, he served as Pastor, Associate Pastor, Interim Pastor and Pulpit Supply Pastor for many churches across the Sumter and Lee counties.
He is also a proud Eagle Scout, and a member of the South Carolina Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge 31 in Sumter.
He has served in the funeral service since 2004. He is the former Chief Deputy Coroner of Sumter County, where he served the community for over six years. He also owns Central Carolina Transportation, which is a mortuary transport company. He is married to Kimberly Rogers and together they have four kids, Christopher, Jeremy, Ryan, and Carolyn and one grandchild, Owen.
